一）uci本科申請條件：

1)高中成績均不低于3.0：

“You must receive a 3.0 GPA (3.4 for non-California residents) or higher in the 15 required “a-g” subject courses, with no grade lower than a C.”

2)高中核心課程滿足要求：

“A. Two years of history ― One year of world or European history, cultures and geography, and one year of U.S. history or one half-year of U.S. history and one half-year of American government or civics

B. Four years of English

C. Three years of mathematics (four years recommended) ― Must include algebra, geometry, and advanced algebra

D. Two years of science (three years recommended) ― Must include two years of laboratory science, however additional years can include a range of disciplines such as: applied science, engineering, computer science, and other integrated science courses.

E. Two years of a language other than English (three years recommended) ― The second year or higher of the same language must be completed to fulfill this requirement

F. One year of visual and performing arts ― A yearlong course chosen from the following disciplines: dance, drama/theater, music, visual art, or interdisciplinary arts

G. One year of college-preparatory electives”

“UCI will not consider SAT or ACT scores for admission or scholarship purposes. After enrollment, exams may be used for class placement or some graduation requirements.”

“Score 24 or higher for the ACT English Language Arts (ELA)

Score 31 or higher on Writing and Language in the SAT

Score 3, 4 or 5 on the AP examination in English Language and Composition, or English Literature and Composition

Score 6 or 7 on the IB Standard Level examination in English (Language A only)

Score 5, 6 or 7 on the IB Higher Level examination in English (Language A only)

Score 6.5 or higher on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS)

“Special talents, achievements, and awards in a particular field, such as visual and performing arts, communication or athletic endeavors; special skills, such as demonstrated written and oral proficiency in other languages; special interests, such as intensive study and exploration of other cultures; experiences that demonstrate unusual promise for leadership, such as significant community service or significant participation in student government; or other significant experiences or achievements that demonstrate your promise for contributing to the intellectual vitality of the campus”

1)托福不低于80分，雅思不低于7，單項不低于6

“TOEFL iBT-80;

IELTS-overall minimum score of 7 and no scores less than 6 on any individual module;”

2)GRE和GMAT分?jǐn)?shù)需根據(jù)不同研究生項目遞交。

3)相等效力的學(xué)士學(xué)位

“Completion of a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a recognized institution with degree standards equivalent to those of the University of California.”

4)本科GPA均分不低于3

“Minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or its equivalent.”

“Choose a Degree Program The Degree Program page provides information on specific graduate programs, including areas of study, degrees offered, program contact information, and application deadlines. Please note that you cannot apply to different degree levels (Masters and PhD) for the same program.

Application Fee Your application cannot be reviewed until UCI has received your non-refundable application fee ($120 for U.S. Citizens and lawful U.S. Permanent Residents, and $140 for all other applicants).

GRE This is sent electronically from the Educational Testing Service directly to UC Irvine. Please choose Institution Code 4859 on the GRE. Be sure to check with the program to which you are applying to determine if this is required.

TOEFL or IELTS If required; scores will be sent directly to UC Irvine by the testing agency. Please choose Institution Code 4859. We do not accept MyBest scores; you must submit all individual test scores.

Letters of Recommendation Three letters of recommendation are required.

Transcripts: For application review purposes only, scan and upload copies of transcripts for all institutions attended since high school. In the online application, you will be prompted to upload your scanned documents. Please upload both the front and back sides of the transcript. Uploaded transcripts should be recent and include the following: your name, dates of attendance, grades/marks received, credits and grading legend. UCI reserves the right to require official transcripts at any time during the admission process, and rescind any offer of admission made if discrepancies between uploaded and official transcript(s) are found. Official transcripts will be requested if and when you are admitted and decide to attend UCI. Do not send official transcripts until this time, unless you are requested to do so.

Supplemental Materials: Some programs require submission of additional materials; please contact your program of interest to determine if any additional materials are required.

Deadlines Application deadlines differ by program, so please determine the deadline for your program by visiting your program of interest in the Degree Programs section of the website.

You must supply a valid e-mail address that you will maintain at least 8 months after you apply. If you are admitted, you will be notified via this e-mail address.”
